Here to Help
We help many of our clients meet the challenges of chronic health conditions, diagnosed or undiagnosed.
About Evolvinn Therapy and Consulting
Evolvinn was founded to help meet the demand for mental health care that surged during the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to grow. We are licensed clinical psychologists who help individuals of all ages acquire the insights, tools, strategies, and skills they need to live confidently, enjoy meaningful relationships, and pursue their dreams and goals.
We are particularly committed to helping patients meet the formidable challenges of living with complex, chronic health conditions—conditions that few therapists are knowledgeable and experienced in treating. We also work with parents, partners and families who seek to learn how they can best support our patients. And we work closely with other professional providers to coordinate treatment.
We get it.
We know that coping with a chronic health condition, or any mental health challenge, is really tough. Your life changes and your world seems to shrink. You’re not the person you wish you were. And it can be doubly discouraging and isolating when your medical condition is invisible—or a helpful diagnosis is elusive. Doctors may invalidate you. Friends and family may dismiss your difficulties or struggle to understand.
We're here for you.
You are not alone! Evolvinn Therapy and Consulting is dedicated to helping you overcome your frustrations, successfully manage your symptoms, tap your inner resilience, and achieve your goals. We’re committed to collaborating with you creatively, compassionately, and expertly—through both individualized therapy and support groups where you’ll be encouraged by others who share your journey.
We're here for your loved ones.
It can be immeasurably helpful to be understood and championed by a village. So Evolvinn offers therapy and coaching to caregivers. We also consult and work closely with your other healthcare and professional providers to offer complementary services as part of a collaborative treatment process.
We meet you where you are.
Literally! Our services are provided exclusively online, and we are able to work with patients in 43 states. You can connect with us from your home, dorm room, office, or wherever you need to be. And in this sense, too: We work with individuals of all ages. We specialize in helping you meet the challenges of the stage you’re in as you anticipate and evolve into the next.
We work with everyone.
Our practice is enriched by serving clients of all races, ethnicities, cultures, national origins, socioeconomic backgrounds, faith backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, abilities, and medical conditions. We are LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity affirming and value inclusivity at our core.
We're dedicated and evolving.
We are licensed clinical psychologists who have dedicated our careers to serving individuals in search of healing and growth. Evolvinn Therapy and Consulting is committed to welcoming you and meeting your needs knowledgeably and compassionately, whoever you are, whatever your background. We are growing our practice so as to extend our reach.

Testimonials
“I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Dr. Laurie Dos Santos for the last 7 years, collaborating on the care of patients who have had a mix of mental health problems or difficulty functioning normally in association with their orthostatic intolerance (POTS, syncope), joint hypermobility or Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, or chronic fatiguing illnesses (ME/CFS, athletes with fatigue). She has been a fantastic colleague, bringing great insights into both the behavioral and medical factors that might be contributing to symptoms, a compassionate manner, and excellent suggestions for improving the well-being of individual patients. She is one of the best psychologists I have ever met. I feel very fortunate to be able to refer patients to her, knowing that they will be heard, understood, and really well cared for.”
Peter Rowe, MD
Director, Children’s Center Chronic Fatigue Clinic – Professor of Pediatrics
“I have had the privilege of partnering and collaborating with Dr. Dos Santos and Dr. Patton for the past four years. As the owner of an executive function coaching business, I have searched for clinicians who we could refer to and partner with in the support of our clients. For most of our clients, the coaching aspect of our work is just one piece of the puzzle and that’s where Dr. Dos Santos and her team come in! In order to help our clients build these crucial executive function skills, their mental health needs must also be addressed. Dr. Dos Santos and her team take the time to truly get to know their clients and their needs, establishing a safe and trusting space to allow for growth and success. The therapeutic relationship Evolvinn therapists create with the clients provides our EF coaches the opportunity to teach these clients the necessary skills.”

Having collaborated with her on numerous cases, I am thoroughly familiar with her work and can attest to her exceptional clinical skills. She consistently approaches her work with the highest ethical standards, and is focused on the best possible outcome for her clients. She is a remarkable therapist.”

Frequently Asked Questions
How and where do you offer therapy?
We offer our therapy services exclusively online, via a convenient, secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform. Using this platform, we are able to serve clients in 43 states including all PSYPACT approved states, New York and California. Please contact us for more information.
What will my therapy schedule be like?
You will have regularly scheduled sessions with your therapist, typically on a weekly basis, at a time that works for both of you. Your initial session will be one hour, providing plenty of time to get to know and feel comfortable with each other. Your therapist will come to understand your needs and goals thoroughly and share more about their clinical approach. Subsequent sessions will be 45-50 minutes long. As you begin to make progress and meet your treatment goals, you and your therapist can discuss decreasing the frequency of your sessions.
What if I need to cancel a session?
If you need to cancel and reschedule a session, you may do so with 24 business hours’ notice at no charge. Appointments that are canceled with less than 24 business hours’ notice will be charged the full fee.
Do you take insurance?
Evolvinn is out of network for all insurance providers and we do not participate with any insurance companies directly. We provide a monthly “superbill” which can be submitted to your insurance company to take advantage of your out-of-network benefits, after meeting your deductible.
Evolvinn is excited to announce that we are now partnering with Thrizer, a company that specializes in supporting clients with verifying their insurance benefits and submitting claims on clients’ behalf for no extra fee. Additionally, for 5% per session, after meeting your deductible, you have the option to only pay your co-insurance for your sessions, instead of paying the full fee and waiting for reimbursements. We are happy to talk with you further about this and help get you set up!
Note: Evolvinn Therapy and Consulting does not guarantee the accuracy of Thrizer’s services. It’s up to you to verify your expected reimbursement rates for sessions with your insurance.
If you have any billing-related questions, you can contact us at [email protected].
Do you do psychological testing and assessment?
With your permission, we will carefully review all reports on previously conducted evaluations/assessments, and confer with the professionals who conducted them, to gain insight into your strengths and needs.
As part of our initial therapy sessions, we will draw on our own training and experience in conducting evidence-based psychological evaluations to make sure that the treatment plan we develop is based on a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of you and your needs and goals. If you are looking for psychological testing and assessment, feel free to contact us for referrals to our trusted colleagues.
How can I access a Good Faith Estimate?
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers must provide patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
